Head to Knee Pose (variation of Janu Sirsasana)
- Extend your left leg forward. Place your right foot on your left thigh as close to your groin as possible.
- Inhale, raise your arms up and lengthen your spine.
- Exhale and bend forward, keeping your back straight. Stretch your stomach towards your leg and the top of your head forward.
- To come out of the pose, inhale with your back round and pull yourself back to a straight position.
Bound Angle Pose (Baddha Konasana)
You are probably familiar with the pose, often called the Butterfly, since childhood. Just get used to doing it, tightly connecting the surfaces of the feet, and we will make the exercise more anatomically correct and effective.
- Extend your legs in front of you. Place your palms near your hips, fingers pointing towards your feet. Inhale and straighten your back, stretching your spine up behind the top of your head.
- Pull your feet towards you, spreading your knees to the sides. Place your heels as close to the perineum as possible.
- Bring the outer edges of your feet together, clasp them with your palms and, exhaling, begin to lower your knees down, opening your hips.
- Having lowered your knees to an accessible position, turn your feet towards the ceiling with your hands, as if opening them like a book. The outer edges of the feet should be connected.
- The back should remain straight throughout the entire exercise. Maintain tension in your spine behind the top of your head and pull your shoulders back and down.
- With each exhalation, try to deepen the pose a little more by opening the pelvis and turning the feet.
You can slightly deepen the final position by bending forward - not necessarily deep. The main thing is that the back does not round and remains straight.
Fire Enhancing Pose (Agni Stambhasana)
- Place your bent right leg in front of you so that your shin is parallel to your torso.
- On your right shin, position your left shin so that your left foot is on your right knee and your left knee is over your right heel.
- Are you already confused? In fact, when you start doing it, everything will become clear. You just need to form an isosceles triangle with your legs.
- Straighten your back, place your hands on your knees. Gently pull your top knee down, trying to rest it on your foot.
